SITE DESCRIPTION: Ridge soaring and thermal. 12 mile ridge to 8700 foot peak.

ROAD TO TOP: 4WD Steep and rocky in sections.
SITE LOCATION: NE of Reno on 445 almost to Pyramid Lake. Take a right on Whiskey Springs and head SE until you can see the road cut on the side of the mountain. Head up and go past the first potential area, keep going to the second area. You must walk down off the road to the flat set up area.
SETUP AREA TERRAIN: Plenty of gliders can set up in the flat area. No sheltered areas.
LAUNCHES AND OBSTRUCTIONS: The launch is loose rocks, small brush, open and steep.
